I bought a new Ford F250 Tri-Flex Fuel Truck

Go figure it runs on either hydrogen, gasoline, or E85.
I returned to the dealer yesterday
Because I couldn't get the radio to work.

The service technician explained that the radio was voice activated.

'Nelson,' the technician said to the radio.
The radio replied, 'Ricky or Willie?'

'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again'

Came from the speakers.

Then he said, 'Ray Charles!', and in an instant

' Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson.

I drove away happy, and for the next few days,

Every time I'd say, 'Beethoven,'

I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said,

'Beatles,' I'd get one of their awesome songs.

Yesterday, some guy ran a red light

And nearly creamed my new truck,

But I swerved in time to avoid him.

I yelled, ' Ass Hole !'

Immediately the radio responded with,

Ladies and gentlemen,

The President of the United States
Barack Obama

Damn I love this truck....

That's a good one, BI, but it makes you wonder. All the jokes and negative comments about our President that are going around, do you actually know anyone who voted for him? I don't, and yet here he is again, 4 more years of trashing the economy and our constitution. I can't stand it, but making fun of him eases the pain somewhat, keep it up. :icon_You_Rock:

I must have asked a hundred people since the election... only 1 said they voted for him.

My reasoning is his popularity is with the young voters and we - (older - more knowledgeable voters see right through his BS) don't associate/talk/converse with the group of his followers. I used followers purposely because they are way more than supporters. These people shut off their brains and just follow.

Speaking of Ford,
I've only owned Ford pickups and had a couple of their cars. One of my all time favorites was my 1982 LTDS - police interceptor. I drove the wheels off that thing - 200,000 miles - cross country NY to CA 4 times. That was a well made car - heavy duty everything - tranny cooler - oil cooler - power steering fluid cooler - just a great road machine. After I got that car I always told everyone I knew - if you see one of these behind you - just pull over!!

I'm breaking my rule by talking about politics but this might be interesting. I've heard negative and positive things about every president.
What I would like to know is what would each one of you have done different to save the economy. post bush or pre bush you decide.
I've often thaught that if it was me in the oval office I would have told the banks and all the busted corporations tuff titty

Wow that's an easy one. Not passed NAFTA, shutdown the border (north and south), stop all foreign aid, Cracked down on medical industry, went back to the gold standard, grow all food needed for American's in America (still import/export, but if the poop hits the fan, we are ok), not allow ANY imports from country's that are not regeulated in teh same manner America is, term limits, manitory balanced budget, do not allow NO ONE from another country own American soil, people that refuse to work and desire to rely on the welfare system to support them forever... deport them to Mexico (give them a map and teach them how to sneak across), require ALL american's to serve in the military for 4 years, require all American's to own a firearm, have ONE prison on the southern border of the country with ONE cell in it and once that cell is full the person with the most siniority has a choice die or sneak across the southern border (give them a map and teach them how), make it a crime punishable by death use a publicly elected office to commit crimes, if we liberate a country then they pay all our cost +10%, after 911 I would close all borders & ports to all country's harboring terrorist and send NO AMERICAN's to die in that sandbox. Tell the middles east we want who is responsible for 911 delivered to us and until that happens we send some ICBM's to thier cities starting with Riyadh.

I think that would be a good start.

Excellent question:

1) Zero tolerance for Illegal immigrants. No perks just massive return to country of origin.

2) Enough with the gay rights.

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God,indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. And based on that, the gay issue would be between the gay person and God and not a political agenda. Big unecessary pandora's box of bullsh*t that gay crap. Hate the sin not the sinner.

3) No company bail outs. No printing moneys. No flourishing the economy with an infusion of money. Tighten the belt like any family does in a crisis and do with out, scrimp and be frugal. Make intellgent economic decision. Can't afford it don't buy it.

4) Social systems like welfare, food stamps and subsidised housing. If your healthy and can work you will be assgned to work parties that beautify your city or town until you get a job and get off welfare.

I could go on and on and on.

I'm thinking I'd start out fixing the F-ups starting w/ Clinton:
No NAFTA
Find and kill the twin tower bombers.
Find and kill the USS Cole bombers and the ones that trained and equip them.
Throw the Cheating Lying Bastard out of office - Monica ring a bell?
Next - If the bud had been nipped correctly during that time frame - Saddam Hussein might not have been so ready to invade Kuwait... Could have avoided war #1 desert storm???
Bush # 2 - IF Clinton had done his job = the twin towers might still be standing - Avoid war #2 the last 12 years... budget problems start solving themselves...
All the rights and freedoms stolen from the people of USA under the patriot act would still be in place.
Obama - no health care act, no trillions dollars of boost to his buddies and contributors -

1) Mandatory balanced budgets.
2) Every citizen is treated as equal - including Senators, Congressmen & Presidents.
3) Secured borders - no such thing as undocumented aliens - they are here illegally - they are ILLEGAL ALIENS and should be treated as such. My grand parents came over in steerage and went through Eilis Island, learned the language and became US citizens legally...
I live in an area that prides itself on Mexican Culture to the point they fly Mexican Flags year round, and don't even speak our language.
4) No such thing as gun control - if the bad guys carry guns then a good man should be able to protect himself without worrying about going to jail for doing it - on the street - on your bike - in your home...
5) Taxes - everyone pays no more than 10% of their income that includes all your taxes - property + income + sales + all the others I can't think of. Everyone pays the same rate no matter what you make.
10% of a millionaire or 10% of a minimum wage no difference.

I feel we are being enslaved more and more everyday by greedy politicians - both sides of the isle!!
I feel that all the money they collect is being wasted and squandered.
I feel like the USA I was born in and grew up in is dying - the new republic is not and will never be the once great country of my father and the people that fought and died in WW2...

Common Sense - seems these days the only ones with it are the ones being burdened by all the fools.

Thanks for letting me vent.
