yeah N. ca. Did everything at Sturgis then Chief Joseph Highway to Beartooth highway then up to Glachier Nat Park, Before Glachier stoped off at white sulphur springs, in the motel they had a pool that was fed by the spring 90 some degrees felt great then after that they have a small room with a spring that is over 100 degrees. No pain after that on the old bones. After Glachier went to Crater lake then northern Ca. the Redwoos on 101 then over to the Pacfic, first time to that ocean for me. then across thru Redding and Lassen volcanic Park, then around Tahoe and down to death valley then Zion and the rest of the canyons except for the grand canyon. Nice ride all together it was 7800 miles in 19 days, still the most amazing park for me is Glachier

I really enjoyed Kings canyon, never figured what was the line between Kings canyon and Sequia, it seems they merge together. Kings Canyon I put right up there with my top National Parks. I just wish that the area could not have the smoke. If it isn't a fire it's a contolled burn, but they all seem to bother me more the older I get. The only picture I have blown up and framed is my bike on a peak in Kings Canyon. I would like to find someone to photoshop my chopper into the shot.

Oh yeah, Kings Canyon&Sequoia are right up there with the must see's... They are pretty much right next to each other and well worth a persons time to check out.
As for the smoke- it depends what time of year you go. They do the burn off's later in the summer to head off any wild fires. Early summer is still damp in the woods...

As for the Pic - you can send it to me and I'll see what I can do for ya.

:icon_toocool: here is my bike at Kings Canyon back in 2011 August, was really surprized at the beauty of a place I never had anyone tell me it is a must see, but for anyone going to Yosemite it is a must see. it is only a 200 mile ride or so to get there
