I had that exact same problem when I bought my bike in June 2012. What the fix was:losen the pinch bolts on the front end and it unsprung the forks. Wobble gone.

Mine didn't wobble so much as rock back and forth under front wheel braking. Coming off exit ramps and grabbing a hand full of front brake would make it shake/vibrate front to back.

Still doesn't sound right that you would have to service it that often. I have an 07 RK Custom and the Maintenance schedule calls for Lube every 10K with adjustment at 25K

The pinch bolts need to be loosened and retightened periodically as thats a key juncture for the pressure of the forks constant action into the down tubes. A good indication is when you start getting that low speed wobble feeling. It is not uncommon to have to loosen and retighten the pinch bolts thru out the course of owning the bike.

Last year I was up in Arkansas with a couple friends and one who rode a 2001 Eglide Classic and he kept noticing his front end would wobble between 30-40.. so we spent a morning taking everything down to get to the pinch bolts and "boing" went the front end when the pinch bolts were loosened. Everything was fine after that.

Surprisingly many dealerships do not know about the pinch bolts.

Or the dealerships do know about it but dance around the issue costing you more $$$?
