I'm hoping to ride to NC this year.

I'd also like to take a trip up to the Sequoia National Forest - Kings Canyon. I missed my trip this year because of work.

Just looked it up - near Sacramento, just over 500 miles away, CA is a big state... Looks cool though. I have so much cool shicht just in my 20 mile radius. Car shows almost every week - John Force drag shop - Shelby Motors - just too much to list. I get overloaded. If I had the time I'd ride up to the Rock Shop- Jay Leno hangs out there... It would be great to find a ride buddy to do short weekend trips. I had one friend a few years ago but he had a stroke and decided not to ride anymore and sold his bike. My other buds got married and the wife wears the pants - typical right...

We live in Lebanon, MO and this will be our 4th year in a row for taking a long trip with good friends. This year we are planning on riding to the Grand Canyon the week of Sept. 7 -15. RK - maybe you can meet us there? We are having a dinner meeting this weekend to plan out our route and destinations. We have been to Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole; made a run out east through West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee; and southwest Colorado returning home through northern New Mexico.
"The journey is never a direct route; it is circuitous, and somewhere along the way, we discover that the journey is more significant than the destination, and the people we meet will be traveling companions of our memories forever." N. Demille
