When I was rideing through Ok, TX, NM last year it was hot during the day, like 109 and heading west that sun was tough. I saw some riders with white suits on, where can a rider buy that kind of gear? thanks, deerslayer

Out here we have a bunch of "Motor Sports" shops. They sell everything anyone could possibly want or need. Every time I go there I walk out with gear I didn't even know they made. I've seen all kinds of light weight gear - jackets - pants - suits - boots - gloves. It's not like they are national chains and I can say - yeah just go to so and so's and it's model this... but if you try the yellow pages or local searches for motor sports gear or light weight motorcycle gear that might be the way to go. I've seen some really cool stuff on people out here but only heaven knows where they get it. I have a couple of buddies that use the mesh motorcycle jackets and they swear by them but the jackets aren't white. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the info, not really looking for protection from the road, got plenty of leather for that. Looking for a light weight jump suit type of thing that is white to reflect that sun. When I was rideing during the day I would use a long sleeved light gray Rolling Thunder shirt, what a difference from a black t-shirt. Where I work we have jumpsuits made out of tyvek, the color would be great but it doesn't breath. Been thinking of taking one and punch in a bunch of tiny holes, the stuff is strong just needs to breath. I am thinking about 30 bucks or so, and something that would not take up much room in a saddlebag, deerslayer

They look like a good deal for that price - and come to think of it, If I had one of those I'd have no more excused not to go under the house to fix things... Oh yeah - I don't fit under houses any more -
