Finally started repairing my wiring problems last night. Got lucky and it all slid out of my handlebar, thought it would be welded in. it toasted my stop light switch and right turn wires, but i ordered a complete new harness with switches, thought that would be better, sort of melted the other ones together anyway. I'm going to grind out the hole and give it more room this time. While it is down, I'll replace the front brake line and add a longer throddle cable, the old ones were sort of short after I added the mini apes to it.
My speedometer quit working, checked it at the dash thinking the nut had vibrated loose, but was still tight. Where it connects into the front hub, there is a very small set screw that I lost, is it possible this has something to do with it? The cable screws into the front hub anyway, does this screw have any value?

OUCH!!
That looks like it left a mark...
If you're getting chaffing at the hole use a rubber grommet.
As for the speedo, sorry I'm not sure.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....
