KS...I clicked on the web link you posted but couldn't find where it showed what they carried?

Thanks...got it. And wow do they have tons of stuff. I guess what I call a FFF helmet is actual a "Modular" helmet. Learn something new every day.

That place carrys top of the line stuff, even MOCO stuff. Impressive. Pretty sure they don't have one near here.

I got that helmet from my buddy, It was an XL not a XXL.
I was a little claustrophobic at first but wore it around the house for a while and got used to it.
It is a little tight but they do wear in so it should do a good job.
It is carbon fiber, very cool. I'll post a pic soon.

Here's what I got.
It came new in the box with a padded carry/storage bag.
Carbon fiber, it's light, weight on my head feels the same as my half helmet.

Very nice.

How is it to pull your head thru the opening?

Nice helmet RK. The FXRG stuff is not cheap. I had a FXRG leather jacket and it was great.

That is a nice looking helmet. Can it possibly be any more money than the Nolan? The light weight has my interest. Is it a HD store exclusive or can it be bought elsewhere?

Thanks,
I think I got really lucky with this one. My buddy told me it was the last one the dealership had when he bought it. He's had it for a while, a year or two. Never wore it, it was stored in the closet in the original wrapping. He bought it for a back up to the one he was wearing at the time, some really over the top $1,100 carbon helmet. He decided he didn't like all the stickers on it and asked me if I was interested in it last spring. At the time I just bought my new half helmet so I told him no. But after reading the posts BI did I rethought my safety gear, so buying this helmet seemed a no brainer.

Wearing it may take some training. I plan on using it on the cooler days for extra wind protection or on the longer rides. My brother wears one every day so I know it's possible, but I really like the wind on my face. He says just pop the shield up on the first notch - makes a 1/8 inch gap at the bottom- to get all the fresh air I'll need.

My melon head fits through without ripping my ears off but its snug. The helmet is flexible to the point that as I slide it over my ears I pull it apart slightly. Once on it's pretty snug - but not to the point of too tight, I could tell it was brand new. I wore it around the house for almost an hour when I got home with it. At first I wanted out quickly but then I sat in front of a small fan to simulate a breeze. Pretty cool, the mouth vent works but it takes some getting used to. Then I sat in chair on the patio because it was too hot to just sit in the house with it on and no fan.

Thanks, I didn't know about the FXRG line until after I bought the helmet. Harley's FXRG line of official accessories : For X-tream Road Gear.

Thanks, don't know if it is still available. To my knowledge, This one is brand new old stock at this point.

In my humble opinion, The Nolan, Vega, or FXRG can work for you. I think the kind that flips up in front is better than the old standard FF helmet.

Can FXRG be more expensive? https://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/mcm_ ... cale=en_CA

:icon_laughing: That's a big 10-4 lil buddy.
