I have never owned a vest, but I am vest-curious... :icon_laughing:
I know BI63 and RK... yall have them. Educate me on the use of them. That may should stupid to you, but I honestly don't understand the use of them. I have a few patches on my denim jacket and most of them are just patches that my wife and kids gave me because they liked them. There is one patch I want to get... the american flag with words under it saying "try burning this one"... I thought that one was cool.

A vest is a way a biker declares his homosexuality. I don't have one.

I personally wear the vest to keep my back warm, it is just another layer of protection against the wind. I don't have any patches on any of my clothing. I have some pins on the epilets of one of my jackets I got way back when i first started. I like the vest because it has 3 pockets - one for the cell, one for keys and one for the camera.
There are a few patches over the years I liked but my favorite of all time is the most classic:

Gas - Grass - OR Ass

So you see some use to it besides the appearance. The vest extenders are for wearing over another jacket? In the south, if it offered some protection, I could see it as a alternative to a mesh jacket... I suppose your arms would not get protected, but the chest and back would.

Those are nice. I like the holster in the vest... nice touch.

Yeah BI those were some cool vests - I liked the holster too.
The one with the collar would be something, Keep some sun off the back of my neck.
Good find.
