I wish I could encourage you to wear a helmet in your new ensemble. Those Vega SOA ones are sporty, small and are protection:

You could still wear the goggles.

The hat backwards and goggles is a way cool look I'll give you that. :icon_toocool:

Thanks for the link, BI, we both know you are right about the helmet thing, I'm working towards it, especially since winter is just coming in around here. It would make my wife very happy, the only thing she would like better is if I didn't ride at all. :icon_crry:

Again its an individual choice and preference but I invoke murphys law. And a wife is always worth making happy :icon_thumbsup:

The Vega line has some really nice styles. From the minimum to the maximum. I currently use a Vega XT but I'm thinking of upgrading to the Vega XT touring with the removable neck deal. It gets chilly here in the fall.

I had two bites on the bike, but both were scams... use paypal... my shipper will contact you... one on them was in Edwards AFB and the other was in amsterdam. I told both of them I was in thier area and would like to get with them in Person... neither was a taker. They quit emailing me. lol.... damn I'm not that ugly.

Oh well.... the journey continues.

My pop used to say - there's an ass for every seat.
It just takes time. I sold stuff on CL - it does work.

Selling is easy....you give me cash and I give you the product. Nothing less and nothing more.

Yeah, I know it works. It's sad the scammers have made it to CL. I have actually sold a bus on Ebay before. It worked remarkably well. I may go that route soon.

KS,
I found if you don't get any action first up the price for a week and then drop it back down to where you are now.

I know you are way smarter then the avg bear. However scams exist because naive and gullible people do too. The buyer has to be as alert as a seller.

When I bought my 1998 Ultra I had to go all the way to Roanoak Rapids,NC. And good thing I had a receipt for my deposit and a signed contract in hand. By time I got there the owners of the bike tried to put the screws to me. It was a serious stand off but I prevailed. I'm shy but I overcome that when necessary.

I may have a buyer today. We plan to meet this evening and possibly make the deal . As wierd as this may sound, I much prefer that the bike go to the right person rather than the person pay the top dollar.

You'll make a friend - and who knows??? you might just have some one new to ride with and your old bike will ride with you.
