I have one of each and would be willing to part with them, would it be better to sell them as a whole or parts?

Personally, I would sell them whole. Parting them out would be a major PIA. Plus, the more you sell off of them the harder it is to sell them as a whole. You might get more from them if you part them out, but it would probably take a long time to see the more money.

No pics, I bought the 74 as a basket case. It's in pieces, I took it to a mechanic and paid a couple of grand to put it together for me. He had it for 2 years and told me some of the transmission was missing, sand blasted some parts and painted the frame. I got screwed on that deal. So its still in boxes. I bought the 73 for parts witch seems to have a running motor it needs work though. my problem is I know nothing about how to put one together and I don't want to get screwed again by a mechanic. I might have some pics of the 74 form when I bought it, If I do Ill put them on.

Fast money - sell them as whole - usually less money - since they aren't really running you'll probably get even less.
Slow money - part them out - max return, you can see nuts and bolts for a couple bucks each if you find the right collector. Could take years to empty the garage...
Bottom line: Dump 'em for what ever you can get -or- start taking pics of each piece and start posting ads.
