Did I read it correctly? that bike has 300,000 + miles on it?
Where'd they ride it on a tread mill? looks like new from the pics.
Hopped up Road King - Enjoy It!!
How are you getting it back to AZ?

Typo in the ad...39K miles. I'm in TN, using Keyboard transport company. :)

Yeah that bike looked far too clean to have that kind of mileage. I was looking at a brand new police bike at the dealership. They told me I couldn't have the blue lights or siren on mine if I bought it, but they'd sell me the bike... still thinking about it.
Hope it runs great for you. Do your self a favor, take it to a secluded parking lot with a strong friend. Practice figure 8's. The friend is there to help pick it up when it falls. If you don't drop it at least once you didn't practice long enough. THIS WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE.
Enjoy!!

Put a Progressive tour link on it this morning to combat some sway above 80mph. In the end I believe what I have been feeling is the air pushing at different angles on the fairing instead of any real handling issues. Funny how the Sportster handles better at high speed than the larger bike. :icon_point:

The rear cover is always the first to leak! Looks like a nice bike, hope you enjoy riding it.

The culprits were the three inner rocker box bolts that were little more than finger tight.
