Hey now RK. Heads up on new purchase of RK..on the test ride get up to 3rd gear and at 40MPH losen grip on both handle bars and hover hands slightly over both grips but not touching and as bike decelerates watch what happens. Whats been ocurring as a consistent problem is once decelerating and getting to 35MPH extreme vibration occurs.

Thanks for the share, now if HD would only read the thread and do things right. Deerslayer how difficult a fix is it to change?

Thanks Harley for the tip, worth looking into it. Its not a major front end wobble, and in fact when on cruise control in 3rd at 35mph its almost non existent. Its just on the decel from 40mph to 25/20mph.

the hardest part is pressing out the cleave blocks, the kit replaces the entire setuup. My kit come from drag specalities, it is a few hour job. I also have a 5 quart oil pan which is great on these hot days or when traveling, that is made by Baker drivetrain. The oil pan has a boss for mounting the stabilizer from Progrssive suspension. All together my bike handles great, you go in a turn at speed and the front and rear wheels work together, such a novel idear. Harley do this? I doubt it it may cost them 50 cents more a bike, to much cost, they just take the lawsuits. Harley does not listen to it's riders. I met Willie g back in 85 at a drag race in Ct. He was there with HOG, I asked him why they don't support Harley drag racing? His answer was they support flat track racing, my answer was yeah thats great a class of racing that when another manufacter makes a bike faster than the XR750 they change the rules to keep the Harley on top. I told him that he doesn't realize what these people are doing with there own money, then I said what are you doing here why don't you just leave. I guess he thought I was an asshole, but in 2001 or so they started support of NHRA P/S V&H vrod, calling it a Harley and making classes like vrod destroyer, which has failed. It went from a class that would qualfy 32 bike field, might of had a full field first race or 2 but the class has dwindled down to a few bikes. Then they come up with the dragger bagger class, I think the most they ever had was 2 bikes, most of the time it was one bike. That was a class that could of worked if they did not make it a spec motor, from Harley. Like I want to buy a new bike have Harley put the spec motor in, and let me have it to beat the piss out of for about 30,000. If they had left it with a cubic inch limit and minumum weight they would have a bunch of baggers out there. If they had supported Harley drag racing back in 85 Elmer would have stayed on his Harleys and not gone to Kawasaki, Jim McClure would of been faster sooner, and so many more, just to many to list.Harley comes into things long after the rider does it. Sure the FX was probably the best thing Harley did, and that was Willie g and AMF. Remember before that all we had for road bikes were the FL and the XL, it was either a lead sled or a rocket, I bought the rocket back in 69. I love Harley just hate the company, you might say it is the same but you just don't understand, well that was a lot of typing but it is just my opinion and my bike handles great. Deerslayer

Thanks for the tip. Could you please send a link for the drag specialty kit regarding the replacement for the cleave blocks which will hopefully remedy that front end low speed wobble? I searrched the entire 2012 fat book catalog and no luck.

here is a site for the manufactor, this setup goes to 2001, the 1" axel setup it won't work on but if you look around you might find one for newer rides. I tried looking no luck. Deerslayer

searching more, I think that harley might have the spherical setup in the swingarms since 02
