I asked headmaster if we could have a bike of the month, and guess what! Well here it is lets start off with any Harley built before the year 2000. Send your pics here into this thread and we will then put all the bikes into a poll and see which one is the most popular.

Hey lenny, doesn't look like many forum members have any bikes older than 2000. I know you do. I'll post my pic here tomorrow with some details. Just got back to town awhile ago.

There are a few that I know of and you are one of them. I thought that it would be good to get a bike of the month started just to have something else to do here. I think that allot of members are out riding and once one bike gets posted there will be more. Hey RK and BI get your bike pics up here.

Here is my 1982 FLH. This bike started off in boxes with the previous owner. I'm unable to get exact info on the motor. He installed somebody's big bore kit, cam, polished and ported heads and a belt drive primary. I took ownership and stripped it down, mostly for tranny leak, and ended up back with it as it is here. Added some chrome, bars, etc, and a "e" shorty carb to it. Runs great on the top side, I've had it to 108 with room to keep going. it is still 4-speed, someday I will drop a 5-speed into it. Right now, I'm just enjoying riding it.

Here is my 1983 FLHS w/ and w/out bags. I've had it since brand new in 1983. It use to be candy apple red until I tee boned a taxi in Providence,RI and who jumped his stale red lite. It used to be black with orange peel flames. Then black only and now black with a skull and crossbones as one of my hobbies is pirates and treasure recovery like the Oak ISland and Mel Fisher stories. Its basically stock except I have solid lifters instead of hydrolics, S&S Super E instead of the Khenin Carb and I swap back and forth between electronic ignition and P/C:

It is great to see that old iron looking as good as it was new. I can't wait to see all the bikes that will be submitted.

Just trying to be a team player when able so when moments of beg to difer pop up as they do from time to time, its not taken personally.

1994 Road King I purchased it in Sept. 1994 I'm the second owner, the original owner added all the chrome bolt-ons and controls.
mostly original and stock - I changed out the exaust because the OEM kept cracking at the 2into1 joint on the right side. Every thing else came from HD as add ons. I added the back rest/ rack during the first winter I had it. I have a windshield but I only use that on trips. Here is the most recent pix while it's still nice and clean.
