Since there is no mods to ban anyone here, we need to police this site ourselves. My concern is that tourist tests each member if they pass his test then they are in, he is not the guard dog of the website. I understand who the tourist is either he needs to change his wording or words and show respect or he will have more and more people against him here. They will not show him any respect.

The poser/MC club bs is not what I want to see in posts. I was hoping that it ran its course and it was behind us. Each time that it shows up many in the forum don't like it and there is going to be negative rebuttal. It shows no respect for anyone. I don't use those words and I don't like them. Tourist doesn't know the new members he just looks down his nose at anyone that comes here. I see it in his posts. I love to disagree and be disagreed with, I don't have a problem with it. Tourist is just a member here like everyone else and should respect the forum and the opportunity that HM gives us to use his website. He pays the bills here, he doesn't ask for donations like other sites do. I haven't ever read a post that thanks him.

I like the tourist he has a great side to him, he needs to see that he rubs people the wrong way. Words are powerful and that is all we see when people post. Tourist you need to be respectful of other people not everyone is as thick skinned as you. People have come here and said in posts if the tourist is here they're not going to stay. Now I don't know anyone from any other forum this is what I see here.

Some people will never fit in anywhere at any level. I hope that this does not fall on deaf ears and everyone helps each other to make this a better place. BTW the tourist joined in the chat last night at 11pm and we had a great time. That is the tourist that I like!

I hope that this is over and we can move on in a positive direction.

Yikes, I can't even go to the gym for a few hours without the children not sharing their toys...

BI63, you did actually support me, and thanks. You don't always have to agree with my opinions, but you were spot on when standing up for differing opinions.

Cwebster4, while you cannot lock your own thread, I feel your focus has merit. You are the OP, and by design or dumb luck you got all of the info you needed. I see nothing wrong with going to HeadMaster and asking for a lock before this ugly thing gets uglier, if possible.

As for the name calling, I not fond of it, but not for what you probably think. It's been my experience that when guys resort to childish banter they've run out of solid rebuttals. Besides, if I got all sweaty about every drunken townie, self-righteous poser, lint trap engineer and jealous husband, I'd never get anything done.

The damage here is how we look to the rest of the supposed 'biker' forums. We're supposed to be the guys who actually ride our Harleys. It's the other guys who are supposed to throw tantrums and squat to pee. Now we have five pages of acting just like every other chrome fantasy forum does. HeadMaster is trying to clean the place up and attract new members and more advertisers just as we collectively get off the Harley cycle and onto the menstral cycle.

Truth be told, you guys have destroyed about two years worth of work in a handful of pages. I hope you're proud of yourselves.

Geez Tourist no reason to lock a thread. Its been productive. You've added to the embarassment to don't be just saying youse guys.

And truth be told and you know this because we also disagre during occasional phone calls... I don't agree with you alot but I defend you're right to an opinion, thats all. And I know visa versa. So.

Humor aside, there are more things going on than just the meaning of colors. I think we are at the brink of a Pyrrhic Victory. In other words, one side might win, but at a cost so severe that the battle wasn't worth the trouble.

At the end of this mess, did we gain anything? I doubt it. RK and I will never be the way we were. Sooner or later HeadMaster is going to weigh in here and no matter which side holds his sympathies, he'll lock it down to end the bloodshed. It'll be like sending the kids to their rooms. This for bikers?

Additionally, we just got our first new female member in a long dry spell. I'll bet you a poser's HOG patch that she's having second thoughts about her choice--and I wouldn't blame her.

I believe in brotherhood, another element of the old code. If you take the award of your colors seriously, then you have to think past your own self interest. Lately I've had my doubts about HRF, but I do consider it one of 'home' forums, and I do not wish to bring it to its knees.

We're fighting like little old ladies over a bus seat at this point. If you want to go a few more rounds, then sobeit. But I tell you guys, I intend to give as well as I get, and I'm not going to be pushed around by a bunch of false flags and guys who can't construct a cogent rebuttal.

It's time to lock this up.
