As requested I will dedicate this thread toward the installation/evaluation of a turbo kit onto my late model EFI Sportster.

Unsure as to how this will go due to the image limited post restrictions of this forum, but we will give it a try. First I will introduce the candidate bike...a 2007 883L which I had already heavily modified in appearance.

Background on the turbo unit:

This turbo kit in the result of several years testing by Jason Sarratt of HellCat Customs in Arizona. After some prodding by several forum members Jason agreed to produce kits for the EFI Sportster and mine is the very first unit that was built. Jason had been running one of these on his personal '09 1200 for over two years. Here is his test mule which has blasted down the quarter-mile in the 9's...on off-road tires mind you.

That looks like a hot setup. A couple of us members here have buells. I think that your setup would work great on my buell. Probably wouldn't be able to hold on. :icon_laughing:

Did you get that new? What does that kit go for? Looks like you get injectors too?

Thanks for the new thread! What kind of power will it produce. Does he have any graphs of power and torque?

Lol...I knew this was going to be difficult. Alright, I'll try to address questions as I go...As far as cost goes, Jason is marketing these out the door complete for $3800. I'm going to put up a dyno run on his mule with my kit set @ a mild 5psi boost level. Keep in mind this is a stock 1200...

Having difficulties with this site or my laptop is acting up. Anyway, at this mild boost level no intercooler is required. Jason and I are discussing one for mine atm however because I'm thinking about some future runs at Bonneville. Even if I do not take the bike this year I plan on being there in September to help Jason with his record attempts on a turbocharged sidecar Sportster (SC).

Prepping the cam cover for plumbing of oil feed/return...two holes to be drilled/tapped in the cover and one in the throttle body is about the only difficult part of the install the buyer will have to perform, and Jason will do that for you if you send him the parts.
