Hello,

My name is Jeff Ludwig and I am from Southeastern, PA. I bought my first HD last August. I have a 2005 883 Sportster Custom. Getting used to riding bikes again after a 25 year hiatus. Love my bike and am looking forward to learning a lot from this forum. Right now I am deciding on louder mufflers on my bike. I bought a service manual and parts manual so I can learn to wrench on this bike also.

Welcome. I have loud pipes on my bike I must say I enjoyed them for the first month or two.

loud pipes save lives...
that said they also give you a headache on long trips...
I use a foam earplug to keep the wind out and the noise levels down.
