Wow...maybe even bromance
Well, I wouldn't go that far...and that comes from a guy who has pretty much pushed the limits of everything!
BI63 go back, not just in this forum, but in a couple of others, and seemingly in a time machine. I spoke to him this morning on the telephone from a coffee bar. I think that's the reason we are members here.
We share a very real concern, that is, there aren't really any more bikers. And in our lifetime, we thought it would go on forever! I've even heard an urban legend that Sonny Barger is building (or wants to build) a Angels' old age home, somewhere in Arizona, I believe. Funny as that might initially sound, we are getting to be that age, and it makes good sense.
One of my choir's members is slowly slipping away from Alzeimers. Painful to watch. I "knew him when." The last time I saw him his wife had to translate a single line item invoice and credit card transaction at our dealership.
In the end, that's the real thing that BI63 and I share. It's hard to watch something you love die. Even if most people think that thing is a "hobby."
