Well the Ole Lady wanted to go for a ride with me today "Christmas". I have been riding every day it hasn't rained or snowed or the temp from the night before has not been below 35 degrees. I advised that it was kinda nippy today with the high being 45 degrees and winds 8 to 15 MPH, and the high point of the day had already passed. This did not deture her any at all. So away we go on a 70 mile round trip ride and most of the time it was at 55 to 60 MPH. On the way there she declined a half way point suggested pit stop at the convenient type gas stations that are along the way. So on the return trip it was not suggested (my fault of course), upon arriving at home the legs had gotten so cold that they ached and then got numb the face was also in the same condition and the hands were hurting from being cold. (I have had colder rides this month). Soup and electric blanket and a tv program later she decides that the winter/cold weather riding will be done without her. So I guess tomorrows ride will be a solo :) ride.
