As most of you know, Wisconsin just passed CCW legislation, which officially went into effect November 1st. For decades liberals had fought this idea, claiming that our state was 'safe,' and having citizens protect themselves was unneeded. Then came 'bangers, car-jackers and a string of murders here in Madison.
Today is November 2nd. Our newspaper reports that while only 123 permits were processed and issued yesterday, tens of thousands downloaded the application, and by law the initial glut must be completed in 45 days. Once this is completed, the law mandates the turn-around time falls to 21 days. So much for our citizens trusting liberal ideology and feeling safe.
Knowing the pent-up demand, I have waited until the hoopla is over. There is a 'training facility' a few miles from my home, I have been a target shooter, reloader and I have competed in metallic silhuette matches since I was in my twenties. Within a few weeks the novelty will have worn off, and it will be easier to apply.
We do have open carry. But frankly, if an area is so dangerous that it requires to carry openly, I'd rather not go in the first place. Besides, I know a guy who sharpens. And I know the "21-foot rule."
I am pleased that this law in now in effect. The next step, a bill recognizing Constitutional carry.

If someone comes on my property and I ask them to leave and they refuse, their well being is then up to my judgement with no repercussion to myself. we can also legally carry in our car or motorcycle without a CC license. 2nd Amendment, the original Homeland Security. Life is good and we feel safe at home.

It is now December 20th. We now are either just passing (or have recently passed) our own 'Castle Doctrine.'
As you might gather, our liberal state is so infuriated that they don't run things anymore, that they gather at every noon to sing mocking songs in the rotunda of our Capitol Building, take out-of-state money from other unions to aid potential Democratic candidates and are now gathering signatures for a recall election. This is the same group who cheered when their elected state representatives all fled to Illinois so our government did not have a quorum to pass legislation.
It always amazed me that so many people can do such brave things for the right to be sheep.

And that is how they would defend this country, gather and sing. I sincerely believe their is something amiss in their brain and they are so insecure in who and what they are that any who disagrees, is verbally attacked. These are the same folks that think the UN is the greatest thing since 'sliced bread' Have you read about the UN Agenda 21? If you own property, might want to read it. Merry Christmas to all

With the current trend, I'm thinking a "disguised" socialism will eventually become the norm and the natural progression will be towards communism. Let's not forget, the current regime, from the outset, intended to fundamentally change this country. Sure am proud of and for the people in Wisconsin... No matter what comes next. PD

Well, Harleys are built here, and we now have guns, 24 hour gyms, the Packers, girls with rounder thighs and cheese. All of the things I love. Yeah, once in while you have to teach a liberal about his own country. But I get a 'letter to the editor' published about once per month, and my knowledge of The Constitution and The Federalist Papers really pisses them off. When you're an old choir member with a couple of Harleys, a good latte' to sip at a coffee bar while watching pretty girls, in a year where the Packers are winning, life is pretty sweet.
