2006 FXDBI shipped with a TC 96?????

Local mom/pop dealer insists HD started shipping the twin cam 96 in 2006. They're selling a "stock" 2006 fxdbi with a 96. Everything i can find shows the 96 started in 2007. They're even willing to bet me the price of the bike!!

Anyone have insights on this??

Most of the new bikes (meaning the next year's model) hit my dealer in autumn. A TC 96-inch motor titled for 2007 would have hit my dealership in the fall of 2006.

Turns out the dealer was wrong. No 96s until model year 2007...

every 2006 dyna has the 96" motor the touring bikes got the 96" in 07
