Heard about this place from a friend. I live on an island in northwestern Washington. I can see Canada and saltwater from my house. I ride a Road King Classic. It is my primary vehicle; the truck is for hauling anything that won't fit in my saddle bags.

Hope to meet some serious riders here.

Thanks for the replies! I'll try to post up some pics soon.

I joke that it is always winter here, but we usually get a couple of months of GREAT weather. July and August are usually sunny with highs in the low 70s. It seldom gets REALLY cold, but winters are long and gray! I ride all year but most do not. There are SOOOOO many motorcycles on Whidbey Island. Finding places to ride are not a problem. We can get off the island three ways: Deception Pass Bridge takes you to Fidalgo Island and you can take Hwy 20 to the mainland, or you can take the Port Townsend Ferry to the mainland on the Olympic Peninsula or you can take the Mukilteo Ferry to the mainland just north of Seattle. The Cascade Loop is one of the most beautiful rides in the area. I do it every year with some friends. We spend the night in Leavenworth, try to drink all their beer, and then continue on to Winthrop the next morning for lunch and home over the mountains that afternoon.

Come on up and I'll show you around!

Where do you like to ride?

Welcome! I like your sig "Life is short, LETS RIDE!"
I am here is Sunny Southern California. Lots of great rides here. I can be up in the mountains 6,000 feet in 1 hour or down on PCH skirting the coast in 10 minutes.

I am talking to the headmaster to possibly getting a ride together for all the forum members down here.

Hey BI! Winter set in up your way yet? It is still nice here; I can't believe it! I've been puttin' a lot of miles on the Road King, almost time for the 10K service. It is supposed to rain starting today through the weekend.
