I've installed some accent lighting on my 08 ultra classic and would like to run them thru my acc. switch. In my owners manual it says there is a plug in front of the battery that ties into the acc. switch. The only one I can find is a grey plug that's hot all the time regardless of the position of the switch. What am I missing here?

You have the wrong socket. I have a similar setup and the plug is controlled by the acc. switch ... Keep looking.
You can have it cheap. You can have it fast. You can have high quality. PICK ANY 2....
