Hello from Va. Just bought a new 2012 Street Glide (8/5/11) back on a harley after several years of riding metric. I am a Truck Driver, Family man, & probally classified as a white trash hillbilly :icon_mrgreen: I love to travel, ride ,hunt, fish. Usally ride alone because I never know where I am headed, & not interested in going to town just to be seen.
My bike is bone stock for now with the exception of a tag bracket, This is my first touring bike & I am trying to think everything through before I make modifications that would take away from what it is. Of coarse there is always some changes to be made for our comfort & style but am Taking it slow.

Hillbilly's are welcome in my house! I live in Missouri... If i did not let them in i would not have very many friends.
Like i said to another guy they other day. Ride that sucker for a year before you make a lot of changes. You will be supprised what you like now that will change by next year and you will have pissed away a lot of cash!

Welcome to the forum! That is my favorite bike, as a matter of fact you are the first person that I have come across that has one. Could you give us a road test report on the bike after you have ridden it for a while.

Hope that you enjoy the heck out of it and ride safe. :icon_thumbsup:

Lenny

Welcome to the forum.
Gotta go with the others on, riding it for a while and then making any changes, I"ve been riding mine mostly stock for 17 years so far and still just love it.
Ride safe.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....
