Its serious and more so if you come down it from the Ouray side instead of the Durango side. Coming down from Ouray/Montrose and heading to Durango you are on the off side, that being the side with no breakdown lane, no guard rail and a 12000 foot drop off the side.YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

One of my Fav's was the ride and camping out in Sequoia Forest. The roads have low speed limits and one can't help but look around and enjoy the view. I've run every road out that way from Fresno to LA. Stopping off and Morro Rock was awesome make sure you go all the way to the top with your camera.
