You're lucky you live just out of one tank range cause you'd have more than her bike to obsess over.
You got that right. I used to "detail" to make extra money when I was younger. As a job, it's a pain. However I'm trying to get her to try
the wipe-down after a day's ride, especially with a friend and a cold drink.
I pull my bikes into an open slot in my garage, and while they cool I do some other task, or eat dinner. When they are easier to touch without third-degree burns, I just grab some Windex, Bug Slide and few micro-fiber cloths. My wife will even sit on a deck chair and we'll talk about the day's events. Very relaxing, and a clean bike for the following day.
Another thing about being a fudd. Before cell phones and the other computer related junk, guys used to hang out in each others' garages and shoot the breeze. Don't they do that anymore?
