By the time i got my bike I had already attended that course, I got on that bike and rode it 200 mile home that day, Mass turnpike, New Hampshire to Albany NY. I have dropped it in parking lots practicing my slow speed stuff but I can also make a u-turn in the painted handi-cap space... I know- I know sounds like I'm braggin but I spent many many hours practicing this stuff in parking lots.

That ride like a pro video was the course. They gave us bikes mine was a honda 125. YOU practice for a day they make you run over a 4x4. swerve technique and figure 8's. Save 20% on my insurance, got UPgrades to the AMA and with that got free pit passes at the races... all good stuff. and one is never too old to take a review course.

Good I'm glad you caught that I said "They" as in the guards. Yeah I have only seen them on bikes that ride by and thought they looked wider, but I guess there are different styles.

Okay, okay, you caught me making one mistake. However, my observation is still valid!

I have to have new pics done, myself. I've lost a lot of weight, and the next time I back Betty out of the garage, and I'm having a good "scowl day" I'll update the forum.

I might even dig around in the back of my closet for some of the crap I wore in the 1960s. That way posers can still think they're fashionably dressed...

The one thing that hurts new riders is that they are afraid to lean the bike. Anyone can get that thing up to 100 plus in a straight line but when it comes to turning they done. The best thing that you can do is practice leaning in an out of the turns. Once you master that you will be a good rider. Don't be afraid to lean!!!!

I've got a question to riders who have ridden for years.... Do you still get the rush after riding. Like for me there is nothing like riding but even after I ride I feel good because of the adrenaline or whatever. I did mma for years and it is the same feeling after I would spar or practice. Does this go away as it gets more natural? Had a nice ride today, getting around without any problems latley, I have alot of roundabouts in the neighborhood and leaned my turn to stay at a higher speed while turning.

I do sometimes, in fact, the reason I'm so stoked on Spinner is that she takes me back to that period in my life. However, whether it's Spinner or Betty, when I go out onto to the slab to clear my head I find the experience quite calming.

I still get the buzz. I hope it never goes away...
Hell I can still scare the crap out of my self and lucky to get home in one piece...
The thought process is much easier with time, the enjoyment level is still high.

For you guys thinking about the crash bars, um engine guards, I saw a guy with them on a 48, he had hi-way pegs on it and it looked like they belonged on there, gave it a nice look.
