For the last several days the lead story on the news is about Michelle Obama's trip to Africa. Only one source has made a connection to the lavish trip she made to Spain.

I think they should label this present trip "Reinforcing Interests in Africa."

They could then call it "Guyana RIA."

In one breath The President criticizes the Bush Administration for spending, and in the next moment he sends his wife--and the resulting expensive security entourage--out on questionable world tours.

I do think of this folly as Guyana RIA. When I think of our unemployment woes and my taxes, I find it really does hurt when I pee...

Think about all the jet fuel and resources she used up and what it cost for that trip... thing is She comes from CA, WTF? She could have read a report just as easily... oh maybe not - reading is harder...

The media is so friggin bias to boot, I was reading an article in Yahoo, they were comparing last years travel totals to this years and this year was 2x as much for the first 5 months.
Democrats went all over the world on our dime, but the article pointed out 4 Repulicans going to an offshore oil well to inspect it and get an idea of the off shore drilling process, It was in the gulf of mexico.

Personally, I think BHO is trying to tap into the good press First Ladies like Jackie Kennedy did in traveling to Europe. Let's face it, his numbers are down, and even staunch liberals are wondering where and when "the change" he promised will show.

To be the champion of the down-trodden, not only do you need people who are down-trodden, but you need them to show up to vote. In the case of BHO, he needs a strong minority showing at the polls. Oh, he might not have a done a thing to help them--after all, unemployment amid minorities is still in double-digits.

However, a photo-op in Africa with a pretty wife is a boost. Hey, when Sarah Palin or Michele Bachman just show up for a debate their numbers go up. When in doubt, send in the wife.

I don't get this strategy. During my entire lifetime the liberals have used this "down-trodden" ruse, nothing changes and the poor never really get a hand up in status. Wouldn't you think that sooner or later one of them is going to say, "My vote is wasted, at least a conservative will get me a job."

BHO goes to Puerto Rico to pander for votes at home, he "Champions" the Gay rights movement, promises change... blah blah blah, He's a puppet and corrupt no 2 ways about it. The gays are pouring money into his coffers and the liberals with their agenda are twisting our nipples anyone that can't see that is just plain not interested.
As for the USA/taxpayers footing the bill for his and his family's vacations lets hope some of those "down-trodden" get to understanding that the money BHO blows could have been food on their table and vote for a real change from BS we are enduring now.

When Russians or any other immigrant come here they become productive members and learn the language and customs. Our great country is now bi-lingual (Spanish/English) because the Mexicans don't try to become Americans they make American into Mexico. TV channels, newspapers, cereal boxes all in Spanish, I had to leave the Burger King because there wasn't anyone to take my order in English or at least any English I could understand.

So "Who" is going to un-seat BHO, at this point I can do a better job but I don't think I have the money to buy the election like he can.

i would love to give it a try myself. I just don't want to move to Washington, DC. Those people out there are mean! I may live in the murder capital of the US, but in DC they don't kill ya they just cut stuff off of ya and leave your ass in the street!!!
