Hummmm, tell you about me. I am just another guy who likes to ride my motor. I grew up in NE missouri and got my first bike at 12. dad brought it home in the trunk of the Ford LTD. That was over 40 years ago. I still ride and still enjoy it. I now ride an '03 Ultra. Bought it off of a Shriner who always gets a new one every 2 years. Great bike. I have had several over the years but this is the first one with a radio. I kinda dig it! I don't have a "patch". Always figured i did not want to belong to any club that would have me. I know a lot of guys who do ride with colors, just not for me. I do my own work on the bike and am not afraid to ask for help if i need it. I bought a book one time, it helped... Now if i just knew what all that writing said... the pictures are real nice. I am here to have a place to swap info. I am sure that you guys prolly know a lot of things i don't and if i can help you then, cool. Always good to give back. My name is Tim, I am 54, and still working. Thanks for letting me in the door...

Welcome aboard. However, I don't truly understand the epithet "RUB." Locally, that means "rich urban biker." Like an insurance salesman who has seen 'Easy Rider' one too many times. You could be a 'newb,' or a "born again biker." I'd happily share the road with either of them. However, if you are indeed rich, please contact me by PM about some old Harley parts and unsold product inventory I have piling up...

I figured it was a reverse nick name... Like "Tiny" , he's 6'6" and around 430lbs... RUB- Rough Unbeatable Brawler...

Ahhh, you didn't 'splain it to me that way, Lucy.
Oh well, to me a 'bagger' is still a 'dresser,' and a 'stone pony' is not the Crazy Horse monument in SD. No decent music was produced after 1968, and Juliet Prowse looked sensual making music without being obscene, half naked or insulting.
We did have a gargantuan member named "Tiny," so I get the reference, it's just that 'RUB' is a title we did not have then. Ergo, my confusion...

RUB was rich urban biker. I live in the suburbs if St. Louis and i ride. I am not rich or pretty. it was just one of thos names that i always laughed at. never known anyone that would admit they were rich!! or admit they were ugly for that matter... i added a couple pictures. a couple of years ago we decided we wanted to take a ride. did not want to go to sturgis. too many people showing off their new bike and acting dumb. so we went to "stand on a corner in Winslow Arizona" It just seemed like a good thing to do. we ended up at the grand cannyon. it was a hell of a ride and we saw some really pretty country. we also rode across Kansas so that was the price we had to pay. next trip will be to the east!!

Good Pics!! I've been across Nebraska and Kansas and I know what you mean, not bad if you like cornfields and farms, but scenic it ain't!! Average the Grand Canyon into that trip though and its still a 10 in my book. Great to see that big "Ugly" Smile. I'm going with the Rough Ugly Brawler than...
