Info for you CVO riders with the stock sport (shorty) windshield. I found the original to have high buffeting and wind noise that was irritating on long rides...had to use ear plugs. Swapped to a Cee Baillie windshield that added 5" and got instant relief...love those long rides. Heading to Tail of the Dragon in a week or so and look forward to the ride with my buddy coming up from Florida on his Harley.

What is that? Tail of the Dragon...
As for the windshield, that is close to the one that came with my bike and I know what you're talking about, makes the long rides more pleasing. I was crossing the Mohave desert years ago and keeping hydrated was a bitch. I found that I could squeeze a water bottle between the glass and handlebars, easy reach.

Tail of the Dragon is near the NC and TN border and has over 300 twisties in about 11 miles ( https://www.tailofthedragon.com/ ). Plan to do it mid-week so to avoid at least some of the nut jobs. I'll take some pics and post them when we get back.

Never been there, but I'd love to put cheap footpegs on Spinner and grind them off! Sounds like fun.

I've heard the same stories, as well, about bonzai cafe' racers crossing the yellow for a better line and ass-whacking a slower driver in a blind corner. However, I think I have the cojones to try it.

After all, I dated a red-head and lived! :icon_bang:
