Hi everyone, My wife and I live on lookout mountain in Dade County Ga. We took a short loop ride from where we live on lookout on 6-2-2011. This ride was 74.5 mile's on country road's very little traffic. We came down Lookout Mountain on W136 into Trenton Ga where we turned left onto Hwy 11 south bound crossed over into Ala and then picked up Hwy 117 North bound back up the mountain at Valleyhead Ala. Once back on top of the mountain we went through Mentone Ala crossed back into Ga and then picked up Hwy 157 north bound toward Chattanooga Tn. At the intersection of Hwy 157 and Hwy 136 we went left on 136 west bound and back home. Great country ride light traffic round trip was 74.5 miles still putting the first 500 miles on our road king classic.

Sounds like a wonderful loop, and a great way to enjoy a bike ride. I also agree with you on the length and duration of that run. Somewhere between 75 to 150 miles on a nice afternoon is the perfect way to see the sights, meet with friends, enjoy a relaxing meal and return home refreshed.
