I have a 11 FLHTK on order and am planning to lower the front and rear, not for appearance, but so I can sit and flatfoot the ground. HD web site gives spec on lean angle of 31 and 33 which I presume is degrees left and right, but other than saying the lowering kits lower the bike 1", I can't find figures how much that reduces the lean angle. I may also change the seat to a Mustang Low Down, which sits 1.5" lower and not need the expense of suspension mods. Anyone know figures how the lowering of front and rear changes lean angle? Yes I know rider weight affects it.

Then again doing both may be highly desirable. On my Kaw 900 Vulcan, I could sit flat on the seat, be flatfooted and have my knees bent.

Lean angle: the point at witch stuff starts to scrape....
the rear of my floor boars are worn off, the bottoms of the brackets that hold them are flat... I can lean it 2 degrees more now and my shocks are at max pressure... figure it out brother, maybe thicker boots and the seat to start things off... but once you lower it you'll be missin' more than me.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....
