So, living here in central FL I don't have to worry about this( :icon_cheesygrin: ) but I AM interested in response from the rest of the country/outside the US in not so temperate areas...what are your off riding season plans for the scoot?

Major/minor upgrades, goodies from Santa, etc...that sort of thing...let's hear about 'em, maybe it'll give some ideas to other folks too!

First I need to get these 2 professional pole dancers employed so I can have a the money to do upgrades....oh wait I'm married what am I saying, lol.

My bike is all set. Before I headed out on the West coast ride I upgraded my twin cam gear drive, put in the 204 cam and stage on down load. 6 inch wind shield and went with the t bag windshield bags. Got the better saddle bag and tour pac carry out bags. Not to mention the XM radio, so I am good. Not a chrome guy. Did the over due 30,000 mile go thru when I got back home. I'm ready for next season.

I was just talking about this with my wife this morning. The Dyna is already in storage and we are going to get temps in the mid-50s this Saturday. It looks like a good time to move the Sportster.

I have to admit, I had one of the best riding-summers in quite a long time.

This coming weekend is looking doable, last hooray of the season I suppose. How depressing.

Been having issues with that E10 gas and bikes not been runnning well lately. Bought some Star*tron to put in it. Hope to run a tank thru that this coming weekend.

No plans to do much to the Ultra except for a few little things like Chillowee ( sp?) leather engine guard covers. Except for Stage 1, heated grips, different floorboards, recurve Freedom windshield, the bike is pretty much stock.
Even though I'm in North West CT, and running out of weather real quick, this weekend Nov 14, is supposed to be 60. I'll do my best to take advantage of the weather. Hopefully, it will be a short winter

Due to some unique scheduling and a great crew at my dealership, the mods to my Sportster have already been completed!

As a surprise, my wrench has already installed the Screaming Beagle mufflers, a Heavy Breather, the CPU download--and most importantly--a kick stand extension so I can find the frakking thing in a dark garage!

I happened to go to the dealership unannounced, and my mechanic called me over and fired up the little beast. I admit I was still slack-jawed, but he added, "I already did the test drive--found you some extra horses, and now it even sounds like a Harley!"

This is going to be a long winter!
