I need to put new tires on my bike. I toyed with the idea of the SE 180/17, but got a headache reading all the do's/don'ts, opinions & recommendations. Plus it's not worth an extra $100 to me to have a larger tire that may or may not rub.

So... I plan to replace my tires with std/fit. Now I notice that it's hard to match up tire 'models', having a 21" front & 17" rear. My question; what are you guys running on your bikes, and are there any recommendations? Your help would be greatly appreciated !!!

I have a Deuce, also....and I'm gonna' need tires before this years riding....I was gonna change wheels because I really don't like that solid back wheel....I am going to stay with the 21" front tire.....but I'm gonna get an 18" for the back....I know what you mean about all the tire threads....a lot to read.....and try to make sense of.....I'm just gonna' put on what I like....and make it work....

I have heard that the Metzlers last longer....and I had them on my last bike....I couldn't tell much difference in the ride....and as far as the screamin eagle 17....you can put that on a Deuce with no problems...

my bike came with dunlops and I tried a set of continentals, harder compound lasted longer but also had less traction, went back to the dunlops and seem to be a good compromise for a roadking at least.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....
