Okay, so I've had my bike 2 weeks now and I'm starting the upgrade process. I have some B&E Max Performance 2 slip-ons coming that should give me a better sound(even though the stock pipes are oddly not too bad!) and I'm thinking about intake.

Now, as cost is an issue I'm thinking of just going with a K&N filter for now and down the road maybe doing an entire exhaust/intake/fuel controller...but that's not for a while. I've also looked at the Ness Cheap Sucker and the V&H VO2 as possible alternatives that I could go with and not have to worry about Dyno tuning.

Any thoughts out there? Maybe some other alternatives?

Let me know and thanks...

Mike

Hey Mike,
Welcome to the forum! There was a kit that I bought for my '01 that gave me the high performance chip and modified air cleaner it was $250. With those pipes that might be all you need to do. PM me and I can give you a hot tip! Best of luck with your new bike.

I would be interested in that tip too. I am looking to start upgrading my TC103" I am more interested in tone of the pipes, as power is not an issue. More is always better, but there really isn't a shortage. :icon_toocool:
