Hello Fellow Riders,
My name is Ed and I live in the Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. I just purchased my first Harley Davidson after owning and riding numerous inferior cycles for about 48 years, last being a Honda Goldwing Aspencade. It was a great bike for hauling everybody's crap like a pack mule but I just got tired of struggling around on a 950 pound bike, even if it was made in the USA. Now to officially put my name on the crap list of this forum, my first Harley is a 2004 VRSC B Model, yes a V Rod. I have no idea if that model is as unpopular as it is on many other HD sites but I like the bike and that's really all that matters to me. If I'm going to be looked down upon on this forum for riding what some call "Not a real Harley" then I guess I wasted my time registering here. I hope that's not the case because I'm certainly no troll, just an avid biker that does 95% of the work needed on my own bikes and a hell of allot on friends bikes also. I joined here because I like to learn, make friends and share my life experiences that I've acquired on two wheels. With all due respect, I can only hope there are other V Rod riders here and if I'm such a minority that I probably won't feel comfortable here, I sure hope someone would just come right out and tell me so. I can leave as easy as I came. For what it's worth, I have no attitude about joining new forums and I hope I don't come off like I do, like I said, I just like to learn about bikes and the people that love to ride them!
With Great Respect,
Ed

Hay Ed.

My name is Louie and I've just joined myself. I have a 1987 softail. It's my first Harley and I love it. In fact I rode it from Wisconsin to California where I'm now living. I try and do as much of the work and or repair on my machine as well. I have MUCH to learn. And one of the most important things that I've found is ALWAYS USE PLENTY OF LOCKTITE. Anyway welcome. Keep the shinny side up and the rubber on the ground.

Louie
