Hello,
The book "Equiment of the Dutch Army in 1939-1940 [Holland Paraat! Number 1]" I saw a photo of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle, armed with a machine gun Lewis M.20. Except for a few photos unarmed motorcycles, no further information has been found. Maybe it was a prototype of the Harley-Davidson armed? How many Harley-Davidson motorcycles were Dutch Army? Were they armed? In what units they were??
Please help Thanks.

There were 4000 of those made between 1942-1945. The were deployed all over not just one theater.
You can have it cheap. You can have it fast. You can have high quality. PICK ANY 2....

Actually more that 90,000 WLA and WLC were made from 1942-45. You stated that the picture was between 1939-1940 there were none available, could of been leftover from WW1 as Harlry didn’t start manufacture until the US joined the war in 1942 for manufacture of the WLA. DEERSLAYER
