I'm not saying that the pic can't be authentic but...

Gotta love the effort put out for that pic...
Either someone is really good with photoshop, or did a bike and got dressed in old clothes and a black and white pic but I can't ever remember seeing anyone back in those old days making bikes that didn't ride well, and that bike can't be a good road bike... :icon_bang:

All that aside, still great to see the effort put out for the pic or the actual bike!!

Thanks for sharing, still cool to look at!!

##################################
I looked at a blow up of the pic after I posted the above...
The window in the back ground "ACME Choppers", I'm calling it a faker. The name chopper came out much later than the clothing that the rider is wearing. Also the bike that is chopped is a very old bike. If someone was to put that effort into a project back then they probably wouldn't have used a bike like that...
I still appreciate the share, always fun to speculate!!

Rat Fink - Revell models, man that brings me back to being a kid.
I remember back in the day, when you'd go to a toy department in any store - and - there would be shelves and shelves of models. Now, only some stores carry models and they are pricey to say the least.
As a paperboy, I'd get a model over x-mas vacation and take my time putting it together - I remember my pops screaming at me because I was spray painting parts in the basement and I stunk up the whole house... Good times!!
Thanks Lenny!!
