Yesterday my wife asked me,
"Do you want to get a bigger motorcycle?
Just not the one like this (and put her arms
up like ape-hangers).

I said, "I like my little bike"

Nice to know that she is appreciative of the ride... :icon_cool:

IMHO, I think she's more than just "appreciative of the ride"... I'm thinking more like a hint that she'd like to start riding on the back... At least thats the way it sounds. :icon_biggrin:

I can tell you from experience, there will be times that you will absolutely love having her along!! I've always found that sharing the experience makes the bike even more fun. Now you will have one more thing in common.
IF she decides she doesn't like it - Having the larger bike offers some advantages over the cafe in real life situations. Room for a thro-over saddle bag on the back seat works too.
Best of luck!!

So far she doesn't want to hop on. I'll give my kids a ride on it,
after I've been riding it a bit more. If they want.
My 12 yr old daughter would probably like a short ride on it,
when her mom's not around.

If she does its up to you to make it feel safe and enjoyable.

I think if you wife says you need a bigger bike. She want's to start riding with you. To keep her more comfortable maybe you should think about it. Now I have a Sportster and my wife and I ain't skinny. Yet my wife doesn't mind hopping on the back and going with me but she has a very nice leather cushion that she bring along that she says is very comfortable. Anyway I'm looking to upgrade to a Fatboy or a Roadking. Now I found a very nice Fatboy a couple of months ago and almost traded in my Sportster for it. My wife stopped me and wouldn't allow it. The only way I could afford to get the Fatboy at this time was a trade in the Sportster. In about a year though I will be able to buy a Fatboy or a roadking outright without a trade in. My wife wants me to buy a Fatboy or an Roadking but keep the Sportster and Bob it out for myself. What a woman she is. :icon_whee:
