Hey BI,
Sounds like winter has hit - Is the electric blanket plugged in? Make sure you keep that beauty safe till spring :icon_winking:

Yeah I'm done for the year. Temp tag ran out 11-2-2014 so I topped off the tank, hit it with a splash of star tron, put on battery tender and covered her with a rand new fancy cover.

Hey BI.
Got a chance to sit on "your" bike,
Great machine, I can see where a shorter rider would fit well. It was the first one I've seen. Really nice.

Cool you got to see one.they're scarce up here, only know of one dealership in mass that has a couple. Being 5'7 it's a great fit. I think the color selection is weak this year but hey can't have everything. As tall guy did you find it cramps?

Hey BI,

What a great bike, I can see where you're going to be a happy rider.

The bike was 3 sizes too small for me.
The seat, the reach and my knees were up in my chin. This was like putting on a dinner jacket for someone half my size...

I didn't fit. But, that means they did it right!!

Nice to see a bike for those smaller riders - and kinda about time.

In a couple write ups that I read the target group for the Low was the height between 5'5- 5'7. I'm 5'7 but even the seat is a smidge to close forward for me. I can live with it for now but I'd like to some how keep the low position but move back at least 1-2 inchs.

Nice to see a bike for those smaller riders - and kinda about time.

Give it some time - you're probably not the only one that feels that way.
They might have to make a seat that looks like the Livewire seat.... :icon_lol:

At 5'7 its what I been looking for since I started riding Ultra's back in 2007. How tall are you? At some point the Ultra Low will be too cramped for a tall person. I wish I was taller but it is what it is. The standard size Ultra was really to tall for me.

It feels like a Ultra Sportster, lol.

I'm around 5'10". I personally liked the seat height of the Heritage, which is about the same as the new UC-Low. I agree with you on the Limited... I don't care for the half-ass water-cooling.

You rich northerners are always buying new bikes :icon_You_Rock:

It is really not your height mates, it is your inseam. I have a 29" inseam which is short. :icon_neutral:

The ultra low is likely 'me next bike.
