We are in the middle of a general election in the UK, our politicians are up to their usual tricks,full of BS,never give a straight answer to a question and will tell you anything that they think you want to hear.they are always in politics to 'HELP YOU' never for what they can get out of it,just wondering if its any better for you guys in the US come election time, or are all politicians tarred with the same brush? We had a recent scandal over fiddled,expenses some went to prison for fraud but still they don't learn!

The mayor his sexitary, the city controller, the cheif of police and a few more were all thrown in jail for stealing from the city.

To get elected - it's the same here and I imagine every where there are people voting - they lie like rugs!!

No different from the UK. They will tell you what you want to hear then they can't do anything when in office. Politics is BIG BUSINESS, get elected pass laws to give yourself more money! They certainly don't play by the rules of the everyday people.
