Haven't been able to ride since last august,so Jan 1 seemed like a good day To go for it. I t was freezing cold but dry,so uncovered Harley and fired her up.,a bro held her upright while I got on board not strong enough to do it on my own yet, and I slowly pulled away.I live on a steep hill and I thought too late to change my mind now,I pulled out on to the main road and opened the throttle and the sound of that lovely old evo motor filled me with emotion. Never thought I would ride again.didn't go far,just a couple of miles but I had done it.my bro was waiting to help me off the bike,and I can't describe the feeling ,,knowing that I can ride again.just got to wait for the spring to arrive now.,by then I will ready for long days of riding again.be safe all you guys.rod

Sounds great, now don't over do it, only 500 mile rides each way to start out, or maybe it should be 800 kilometers or so. Enjoy now you know you have a reachable dream. Happy New Year
