in the midst of yet a 4th snow storm.

I think the storm front you're talking about was here last week.

We're in for another one tonight. 2 inches of rain expected. Haven't had to water since mid- November. The fruit trees are loving it. In the next week or so the transformation of the desert happens. Everywhere everything turns green and explodes with growth, turns the place into a park. The flip side of that is, all that growth dies and becomes fuel for wildfires in the summer.
I've got a green felt of new growth all over the dog run, which is usually just sand.

Here in Missouri we have had a mixture of cold and warm temperatures. I played golf on Sunday with temps in the 60's and today it is 27 degrees with 1 - 3 inches of snow predicted for this evening. I need to move somewhere warm year round!

Hey RK I had an idea it was us Brits that were responsible for this clock changing fiasco, sorry about that, we tend to get wacky ideas often times,I think its called eccentricity .

Rod I wouldn't hold that against ya! :icon_laughing: Been a little rainy here the past few weeks. We needed it, grass is getting green and hopefully my water bill will get a little less.

Everyone in the snow and ice put another log on the fire and stay warm and well!!

Yep, the days are starting to get longer. I had frost in the garden last night and my rain gauge was frozen solid. Hasn't gotten warmer than the 50's for a week now. Thats considered an ice age in these parts. Tomorrow is supposed to start a warm up, expecting 70's mid week.

The weatherman said this morning that our forecast for Wednesday is a high and low temp of 14. That is too frickin cold for me!

Here in Puerto Rico we ride all year long and we don't have to mess with the watch (time) temperature gets nice for christmas and in the mountains might go down to 58 but is nice anyway. Usually the temperature during the rest of the year is in the mid 80's up to the mid 90's but the beach is great too.
