Just got home from a fun ride down the coast. Sunny warm - 72, breezy. There's a slight chance of rain - next week.
Hey - that's why I moved here!! :icon_clap:

RK thanks for posting the pictires, very fast bike runs in the 6.20s 220 mph. Know Jim for over 25 years, it was a nice day for a ride passed 220,000 miles yesterday, running great. Season is slowing down out here, I would think yours is great right now. I go to Key West for boat races next Saturday for a week, flying and renting a cage

Just a shout out to all you guys in the snow belt - just saw on the news it's gettin a little bit like winter out there. Hope you and all yours (bikes) are tucked away and nice and warm and cozy.

Was a great year for rides - got to meet a living legend: The DeerSlayer. We rode the Ortega together, was a surreal sight to see him in my mirrors. Was an honor. He even got his own land mark out there - DeerSlayers Overlook. There are no wrong turns on a ride that gets you home safe.

DeerSlayer: Bike runs great - :icon_hat:

Thanksgiving in 2 weeks - May I be the First to wish you all a safe, happy and healthy Holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and the other forum members.

Thanks RK for the nice complements, Happy Thanksgiving to you and all around you. Riding with you and your brother was great. Nothing up for 2015 yet, maybe a trip to AZ, and some harley drags somewhere. Plan on enjoying the pool back home when it is hot in MA.

Keep me posted on dates for AZ if you go - it's only one state over, it could happen - stranger things than that have happened...

After you split off that day, he hit the after burner on that Buell, my bike had no problem keeping up. Thanks for all the help with that. And DeerSlayer, thanks for all the knowledge that you share on a daily basis with everyone here. They might not stick around to thank you but the rest of us know for a grizzly ol biker that hardly smiles - you got a heart of gold.
Happy Thanksgiving!! :icon_hat:

Looks like we might get a nice weekend ride in. Been raining for a while now, the rocks were falling on Ortega and it was closed last weekend. Looking to get one more ride in before the end of the year.
Thinking about a desert run - with all the rain the wild flowers pop and it's quite a site.

As I started this thread I will close it for 2014. Thanks to all the members who participated and shared their stories and journeys. :icon_You_Rock:

Although I was not able to venture to far away from my home I lived vicariously through your adventures and posts. It was a good year and I hope that 2015 will better for all. As we look upon 2015 I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year both in health and wealth.
