Cars and trucks are coming out with blind spot convex mirrors as standard equipment so I thought why wouldn't this be a good idea for my motorcycle. I purchased a set of 2" round convex blind spot mirrors off ebay for $3.99 and used the adhesive tape to stick them on the top outer part of my mirrors. At first I thought the 2" size was going to be too big, but actually it works just fine. The convex mirror does the trick by eliminating the blind spot.

I can see the value in the mirror accessory, but as a rule I do not change lanes unless I turn my head and look first.

I have those on my van, great for seeing short distances when parking and such. I tend to be a swivel head when I ride, out here you can get passed by some speed junky doing a buck and a half. Those little mirrors won't see 'em coming. I see the value in the convex mirrors - just don't forget to head check.

Agreed.....great point RK! I still swivel my head left or right before changing lanes, but it is nice to be able to see in the blind spot when I check my mirrors. And when a car is passing me, I can see them in the mirror the entire time. Works for me.
