The first picture is all happy at Locust Creek Historic Site. The title of the second picture should be "Pissed and Stranded"

This weekend we have a ride planned to travel south on MO Hwy 125 and cross into Arkansas via a ferry boat across Bull Shoals Lake. This might be our last ride of the year depending on our fall temperatures. The weatherman is saying a high of 66 degrees for Sunday so we are hoping for a nice day and some beautiful fall scenery. My wife thinks this is a little on the cold side so she will have to bundle up like an Eskimo when we head out Sunday morning.

Don't get the one run by batteries. Get the one that plugs into your cig lighter or has harness that attaches to your bike battery.

+1 on the heated vest - I don't have one but I have several friends that have them and everyone of them is very happy with it. They all went with the plug in models - seems they work better.

Thanks for the tip on the heated vest. I think that would be perfect, especially for my wife. It was 41 degrees when we hit the road yesterday morning and finally warmed up into the low 60's by mid-afternoon. We had a fabulous ride with good friends. If you are ever in southern Missouri, Hwy 125 is a must do! In fact, it is a good enough route to ride both directions, so you can see what you missed on the first pass! RK thanks for posting the pictires, very fast bike runs in the 6.20s 220 mph. Know Jim for over 25 years, it was a nice day for a ride passed 220,000 miles yesterday, running great. Season is slowing down out here, I would think yours is great right now. I go to Key West for boat races next Saturday for a week, flying and renting a cage

Hope you and all yours (bikes) are tucked away and nice and warm and cozy. Was a great year for rides - got to meet a living legend: The DeerSlayer. We rode the Ortega together, was a surreal sight to see him in my mirrors. Was an honor. He even got his own land mark out there - DeerSlayers Overlook. There are no wrong turns on a ride that gets you home safe. DeerSlayer: Bike runs great - Thanksgiving in 2 weeks - May I be the First to wish you all a safe, happy and healthy Holiday.
