I have an 09 FLHX, and have been having issues with my swingarm rubbing on the frame when I hit a hard bump solo, and with a passenger. Let me preface this with, I had Progressive adjustable shocks on there first, which were the stock 12" height, and now upgraded to the Works top of the line shocks. had the problem before, and still have it now. So my oakie engineering thinking, is that I don't think its a shock issue, but something else. Anyone else have the same experience? It seems to be rubbing on the left side of the swing arm. thanks for any help you can give me.

Stock for the FL 13 inch shocks, Harley lowered that model because that is what the buyers wanted, they got the look but lost the ride. If you live in New England my friend has a shop and he bought one and worked on the suspension for quite a while and ended up with a solution that one manufacture has now marketed. If you want I could ask him and post the info

That would be awesome! I'm trying to figure out how to solve it. So any help would be great.

Is the bike in alignment? Did you ever take the swing arm off? Did the bike ever get hit? any time there is a clearance issue something is out of wack.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....
