Happy 4th of July!! :icon_clap: :icon_thumbsup:

Thank You To All - that served/ and that are out there right now serving our great country to make this holiday possible :icon_hat:

Now that summer is here - the next 2+ months are usually the best of the year - the days are long, lots of activities to take advantage of.

I love this time of the year - it goes back to being a kid, summer vacation, and just getting a chance to have some fun.

I'm having a bbq here at the house - grilled chicken, burgers, hot dogs, and hot sausages - I don't trust my guests with sharp objects so they only get food that fits on buns :icon_laughing:

tonight the fire works show from my back yard can't be beat - my neighbors have the best stuff - I watch and man the hose - make sure my roof doesn't catch fire :icon_bang:

Hope all my friends and all the members here, have a safe and fun filled summer - with great adventures that we all can share. :icon_thumbsup:

Your welcome from a Vet, hope you don't need a hose, I want something of Ca. When I get there the end of July. I put a 200 gallon oil tank on my bike for gas, and now I will have room for my cheat sheets across this great country, don't need no stinking gps. Sounds like a good time over here it is getting dark due to the time and the clouds, been rain gall day. Off to a Harley dealer in Pittsfield for some luggage that takes up the rear seat then off to a BBQ in east Brookfield for some chicken, dynomites and good people on a lake. All that is left to do on the bike is put the new tire on the rear, it is already mounted on another wheel so it's just a matter of swapping wheels. My friend just asked me how many sets of wheels I have, answer 3, doesn't everyone. Running like I do having the wheels saves on tires because I don't trash them till they are done, as in bald. When I run cross country it is brand new front and rear, Dunlops, I have tried them all now and have found OEM Dunlops are the tire for me.
Everyone enjoy our Country's birthday, happy 238th birthday

Happy 4th back at you too. I worked 12 hours but wife packed a great lunch of lobster,Strawberry shortcake and sushi w/ an H2o chaser.

Hey deer slayer..when I first met you and saw all the POW/USA flag stuff on your bike I asked if you had been in the military. You told me you never served and the flags were for when you would do the rolling thunder ride.

Senile? Yes you are, I buy the flags at Rolling Thunder and I served from 63-66 in the Navy, I fly the flags for the same reason I go to Rolling Thunder and ride this great country, it is for the ones that can't ride and enjoy the Freedom they gave to me. "NEVER FORGET"

You didn't answer my question accurately the first time, not my fault. I thought it weird that you'd fly all them flags and not be a vet. Or perhaps you were embarassed to admit you served in the Navy.

You know why Marines are allowed on the boats? Because sheep are to obvious.

I served in the US Army '75-'81 hoo ah!

We had a nice chilled 4th. Little BBQ and a few explosives. We had some artillery rounds left over from New Years that were the loudest I have heard. You could feel the concussion when they fired off and it set off a car alarm a block away. :icon_laughing: We only had six left over

I hope all went well for everyone.

My bro came through for me. Dropped the dog off early Saturday morning, packed some gear on the bike and jumped at the chance for an over night in the mountains with the GF. I left to scout a nice site, she met me up there with camping gear in her car.

She got there afternoon, we set up camp and jumped on the bike to go into town for diner and some fun. Took the long way back to camp just as it got dark. Beautiful star filled night - we had some candles - no fires were allowed where we where since it's been so dry out here.

Nice get away for an overnight - great way to start the summer.
