Just found this forum, thought I"d join and I have a question. Just changed my fork oil at 20k miles and the right fork oil was bright shiny new looking but the left fork oil was gray like full of aluminum, any ideas on what could cause this. The bike handles same as when new and fork dampening feels normal and has no leaks.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.

This is kind of a normal thing but I would be courious to see what the slider bushings looked like. Any time I see this in my shop I pull the forks apart and check the bushings. If they are worn you might not be able to tell by feel and they could bind up causing a bucking in the front end. I don't think I would worry about it 'till it's time to change the fork oil again. But, if you start to notice poor handleing or strange ware on the front tire you will need to change the fork bushings......Shaggy001
