I am loyal to good dealerships. Texan harley in Conroe Texas has treated me good. I had an issue with something the service manager told me once, but after owning the current bike for a while I see why he said it. A friend of mine has been happy with them as well.
I have experienced the high pressure sales at another dealership. I get it that they are trying to make a living and someone taught them to sell like that. these days I just tell them from the start how I roll. Tell me your best price and I will decide from there. If they play games I can buy the bike elsewhere.
And Kelley Blue book and NADA helps to a point with the process. The shit salesmen are so obvious, lol. Most of them here seem really good at the bait and switch. Get you in negoitiations with a decent initial sounding offer and then once it starts they conveniantly don't remember stating the initial offer. They kill me. They must think everyone is huckleberry brain dead stupid.
Also too the level of reliability vasilates here anyways. I mean the turn over rate for mechanics and service managers here is huge.
