Hello good people, just registered to the site. I have been riding since back in the day. Had a sportster, then got the first year soft tail in 85. I have a BMW R1200RT currently, ( DON'T throw me under the bus for that ) however I am making plans to get a Street Glide.I like to ride in the Mountains doing the twists and curves. I enjoy riding (sober), I like touring and camping, and just being outside on my bike in the wind. Agan hello and look twice and save a life, ride safe. Hawkbill

Thanks for the welcome guys, yes I do plan on pulling the trigger on a new FLHX . The 401k's gonna take a hit but what the hay, you only live once and I wanna make once count. Just lost another friend, he was laid to rest yesterday. Today is all we have, yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not guaranteed . So make it count in a GOOD way. Look twice and save a life, be safe. Welcome from New England. I imagine you can ride all year long in SC?

Yea we pretty much ride year round. However this year we had our coldest winter in over 30 years. The winter artic vortex brought us zero degree weather. We also got 4 to 6 inches of snow. But still we ride.

Its been unusually harsh, long, cold and expensive winter. I still have about 9-10 inchs in my yard proper. Summer is short enough up here as it is.
